A bequest, or gift, in your will or trust
Adding ACCESS to your will or trust is a simple way to help pave the future for our organization. You continue to use your assets during your lifetime and leave either a specific dollar amount or percentage of your estate to support the mission of ACCESS.
While we always recommend checking with your legal representation or wealth advisor first, here is an example of wording that may be used to name ACCESS, Inc. as a beneficiary of your last will and testament.
"I, [name], of [city, state ZIP], give, devise and bequeath to ACCESS, Inc. EIN#34-1395246, [written amount or percentage of the estate or description of property] for its unrestricted use and purpose."
We would like to recognize your generosity by naming you a member of the Purple Lotus Society, our legacy society. Please fill out the form below to submit your information.
Life Insurance, IRAs, and Retirement Assets
Naming ACCESS as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy, an IRA or retirement plan assets is an easy way to maximize your investment. If you leave an IRA or retirement plan asset to charity, not a penny is taxed.
You will need to request a designated beneficiary form through your employer or your plan administrator. Many financial services firms have access to beneficiary forms, or they can provide you with suggested language for naming beneficiaries to these accounts.
